What is BVP CET 2024

Bharati Vidyapeeth Common Entrance Test, also known as BVP CET is a university exam conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune for admissions to various UG and PG programmes. The exam is a gateway to as many as 700 BTech seats at the University. Candidates will be offered seats based on the marks obtained in BVP CET 2024.

BVP CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• Aspirants must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (H.S.C)/ the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or any other equivalent examination of any recognized Board/University from any school/college situated in India.
• Interested aspirants should have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as the main subjects along with Biotechnology/Chemistry/Biology/Technical as one of the optional subjects.
• Open-category candidates must secure 45% aggregate marks in the 10+2 examination
• Reserved category aspirants need to secure 40% aggregate marks
• Aspirants who have appeared or are likely to appear for any qualifying examination like HSC and whose results have not yet been declared will also be eligible to appear for the exam. However, these students are required to produce their HSC mark sheet during counselling.

BVP CET 2024 Admission Process

Appearing in BVP CET 2024 was a three-stage process that included, application, entrance test and counselling. Here’s an overview:

STEP 1: Filling the Application form

Application forms for BVP CET 2024 has to be filled out online by logging on to BVU’s official website. BVP CET Registration has started and the application form is available till June 1. To fill the application form online, the candidates have to register on the official website as new users.

STEP 2: Downloading Admit Card

BVP CET 2024 admit cards will be released online on the institute’s website. The candidates have to download their admit cards from the official website from the scheduled date as notified in the admission schedule.

STEP 3: Appearing in the Entrance Exam

BVU will conduct BVP CET 2024 on June 9. This exam is a mandatory step to secure admission at the university. The entrance exams will be of Multiple Choice Questions format carrying subject-specific questions.

STEP 4: Results

BVP CET 2024 result will be announced on June 18. Results of entrance exams for different courses will be announced on different dates. The candidates can check their results on the official website

STEP 5: Counselling

Post the release of BVP CET 2024 results and a merit list will be issued with the names of selected candidates. The selected candidates had to participate in the counselling session held at various campuses of BVU for the final nod.
