MAH MBA CET CAP 2024: Check Dates, Schedule, Round wise Cutoffs, Merit Lists, and Process

The 2024 Mah MBA CET CAP will be divided into three phases. The Maharshtra State CET cell will shortly release the MBA CET CAP 2024 dates. Applicants can take part in the CAP rounds if they passed the MAH MBA CET 2024.

MAH The MBA Centralized Admission Process (CAP) round, also known as the MBA CET counselling process, is a formal admissions procedure for MBA/MMS programs given by more than 300 Maharashtran schools and university. Participants may also include candidates with results from the CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, GMAT, and CMAT.

    What is MAH MBA CET CAP Round?

    The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, administers the MAH CET CAP round for admission to MBA/MMS programs provided by state-run institutions. About 300 management institutes, including JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research, and PUMBA, administer the MAH CET CAP, often known as counseling, to applicants. Rounds one, two, and three of the Mah MBA CET CAP are held online at the official website.

    The CAP registration form must be completed by the deadline on the Maharashtra State CET website by candidates who passed the MAH CET 2024 exam.

    MAH MBA CET CAP Round Process 2024

    MAH MBA CET CAP round process includes online registration,verifying documents, filling the application form, application confirmation, release of provisional merit list and the release of final merit list and confirmation of admission.

    The MAH MBA CET CAP round is explained below in three stages:

    Step 1: Registering as a candidate
    Online registration is available for MAH MBA CET Counseling. Following the admission cell’s acceptance of the application, the following actions are listed below:

    Step 2: Publication of the preliminary merit list
    Following the application form submission process, the MBA CET cut offs and preliminary merit list of chosen students will be made public. Applicants can bring necessary documentation and any grievances they may have to the same Facilitation Center where they had their application checked. The final MBA CET CAP round merit list will be released following this procedure.

    Step 3: Final merit list announcement
    Seats available for the CAP rounds will be indicated on the final merit list, which will be made public on the official website. The MBA CAP rounds I, II, and III will all take place online, and an automated system will be used to assign seats. The Admission Reporting Center (ARC) will be the place where candidates who have been given seats in a specific CAP round must report in order to have their documentation verified and admission confirmed. The candidates will need to visit the designated college to finish the admissions procedure after receiving confirmation of admission from the ARC.

    MAH MBA CET CAP Round 2024: Important Things to Keep in Mind When Registering

    • Candidates may choose from a minimum of one and a maximum of 300 colleges and courses.
    • No modifications to the Option Form will be permitted after confirmation.
    • Candidates’ forms will be returned if they do not verify their online application through the E-Scrutiny center.
      The applicant will have to accept the seat that is assigned to him or her based on that first preference. There will be no further CAP rounds in which to participate.
    • For every accepted candidate, there is a non-refundable seat acceptance fee of INR 1,000.

    Information You Can Edit in the MAH MBA CAP Form 2024

    The candidates will be allowed to edit only certain sections in the CAP form at the time of scrutiny of documents. Given below is the list:

    • Change of gender
    • MAH MBA CET score (change in merit number due to an increase in marks will not be allowed)
    • Caste/sub-caste/the category of backward class but the change from General to Reserved category is not permitted. However, a reserved category candidate will be allowed to change his/her category from Reserved to General upon his failure to submit requisite documents
    • Removal of Reserved category status like Minority, Disability, Defence, etc. in view of failure of submission of supporting document
    • Change in Type of Candidature
    • Change in Home University
    • Removal of Tuition Fee Waiver Seats (TFWS) in case of failure of submission of supporting documents

    Eligibility Criteria for MAH MBA CET CAP 2024

    Admission through MAH CET CAP 2024 is done under the following categories:

    • Maharashtra State Candidates
    • All India Candidates (including Jammu & Kashmir Migrant candidates)
    • NRI / OCI / PIO Foreign National, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries

    NRI/OCI/PIO Foreign National, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries(1) The candidate should have passed minimum three-year duration Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks or equivalent, awarded by the University recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities.(2) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra as defined under the Act.

    MAH MBA CET CAP Registration Fee 2024

    Candidates who have appeared for MAH CET MBA/MMS need no pay the registration fee. However, candidates who are participating in the MBA counselling process on the basis of CAT and CMAT scores are required to pay the registration fees.
